Part A:
In 20 minutes, establish 1RM Squat Clean and Jerk*

*Clean must be squat clean; jerk can be any style

Part B:

Here’s your first real chance to hit a PR this month. Get after it in Part A.

Part B – almost everyone should be attacking C/M levels. Notice that in “Mechanics” we’re asking you to Power Clean rather than squat clean. Regardless, the reps are unbroken. That means you need to rest an appropriate amount of time before picking up the barbell.

For those attacking Part B as RX – unbroken means unbroken on the DU. If you break at rep 49, you have to start over. Don’t do 50 double unders and the squat cleans at 135 and then click RX. That’s not the point of the workout.
