“I started CrossFit over two years ago with zero level of fitness going in. I had never been much of a runner but my husband was training for his first marathon and I kept thinking if he can go out and run for hours at a time, I can spend one hour at the gym doing something for me. When I started at CrossFit, I used the black band for pullups on my first mini-Cindy and ran a 5K in 45 minutes. In a short amount of time, CrossFit made me stronger both physically and mentally – giving me the confidence to achieve fitness goals I never thought possible for me. Within a year, my 5K time was down to 29 minutes and I have run three half-marathons.
